We didn't really see my dad's side of the family a lot when i was younger, but when we did she sure made you feel welcome. She is such a caring loving soul, and always so positive. She has had more then her share of medical issues, has been in and out of the Hospital more then i can think of. But what impresses me so much about her, is she could be sitting in the hospital wearing a bib so she doesn't get food all over her when you ask "How are you doing ?" Her response is always "I'm doing GREAT"... I mean really, i remember going to visit her while she was in the hospital for her last stroke, she could barely move her left arm, actually her whole left side wasn't functioning like she needed / wanted. and she was doing "GREAT ?" She had to be fed for the first few days, couldn't take a bath or shower by her self, was wearing diapers, had to be taken care of like a baby does and she was doing "GREAT"... Amazing isn't it !! I get a headache and i feel horrible.. Like i said, she is an amazing woman !!
I don't get down to her house as much as i would like to, but sure do love the times i do get to see her....

If you counted the kids in the above photo, you would have counted 12 kids not 13 like i said she had... The bottom photo is my dad, The 13th child that is missing from the above photo...
My dad's name was Mike, i say was since he passed away 11-13-1999.
